One of the biggest reasons people want to come to America is so they can start their own business and live free. You may live in a country that doesn’t allow you to own your own business. Maybe you have mafia and other people force you to give them half of your profits for protection and it isn’t cost effective to own a business. You shouldn’t live in fear that the men down the street will blow up your business or your car if you don’t pay them. In America it would never happen. In addition, you can own your own company. Another excellent thing about the United States is that there is a minimum wage in every state. The minimum wage is not the same in every state. States that have a higher cost of living often pay much more money like New York or California. The great thing is that the minimum wage may be what you make in a day, week, or in some countries an entire month. You might find you can make so much money to send back to your family that will take care of them in your country for many years to come in just a few paychecks.

Americans have freedoms that many countries do not and one of the biggest is the job they work. Many people are forced to work what their country tells them to do whether it be a soldier, a rice picker, or something else. When you come to the states you will find that you have the opportunity to work any job you want to and you will be guaranteed at least minimum wage an hour.
