Amasing Homes

Making Dreams Come True

Everyone always wants to live what has become the American Dream. They want to get a nice job, buy a great home and raise a family and retire and eventually give that family home to the children who will carry on the tradition. That is how it has been done for years and that is how it will continue to be done. It is one of the things that people that live here love about the country and it is one of the things that drive people from other cultures to want to become a member of this great nation and has them wanting to endure United States Immigration, fill out the USCIS forms and obtain the illusive US Green Card and remain a part of this country and chase that same dream.

So what does it take for someone that is not a member of this country to be able to move here and get a piece of the pie that is called the American Dream? For one thing it takes drive, desire and commitment because it is something that can take a long time to accomplish due to the red tape involved in becoming a legal resident and then the issues of purchasing a home in your new country. It is difficult enough for a someone that was born here as a resident and can be next to impossible for someone that is coming in and starting with the deck of cards stacked against them.

Filling out the USCIS Forms given by the United States Immigration department is just the first step towards getting the Green Card that will allow them to stay here. On top of that you need to follow all of the guidelines that need to be done in order to make sure that everything happens at a specific time line as the government wants it to happen. If you do not stay on top of it, it can be easy to miss something and get pushed back to the back of the line or even out of the process all together.

Even if the person were lucky enough to get through the system in the shorted amount of time and with a minimum of issues there are still hurdles. Even after they have their Green Card and no longer have to deal with the United States Immigration folks or fill out any additional USCIS forms, they are still potentially looking at years before they are even legal to be here and remain here. After that, the process of chasing the dream has just truly begun.

The next part is that you like anyone else that is a resident here, has to prove to the lending institution that you are credit worthy and that you can repay the loan that you will need for your home. That means a substantial cash outlay and many folks that have just gone through the system are next to broke so that process can take several more years to be complete.
